Now they are coming back to me on a regular basis and in increasing numbers to ask how I'm progressing. Whilst some of them might imagine I'll burn out and fail, others might imagine that I have a JK Rowling career ahead of me (who wouldn't like that kind of success?), the latter are what keep me writing. Maybe it won't be such a rocket-propelled rise to success, but if you don't imagine yourself achieving greatness, why not? It could happen to you! Anyway, at the time of writing, I have just clocked up 45,000 words. That's almost halfway! And I have a family, pets, a burnt-out house and a full time job to work around. What's keeping you back?
