FREE: Create a Plot Clinic

by The Procrastinating Writer on July 28, 2008

Everyone likes to get something for free, whether that be hugs or a free gift with purchase or something that is truly free.

On this blog I give away free advice, but today, I’m also giving away something even more useful than advice.

A few months ago when I started getting serious about writing a novel, I came across author Holly Lisle. She offers her readers all kinds of free stuff. And one of these things is a free plot course.

I signed up for her newsletter and received the free plot course. And it changed my entire novel.

At first I wasn’t sure where I was going with my story. I had a basic premise, but I wasn’t sure how that was going to get me from point A to point Z. So I decided to give Holly’s plot course a try. And boy am I glad I did.

Her course helped me:

  • Develop the basics of a working plot outline
  • Choose a central idea for my novel
  • Get more in touch with my main character
  • Create a list of events for the beginning, middle and end of my novel

Holly’s course was a gift to me and my novel, and now I’m sharing that gift with you.

Get your free copy of Holly’s basic plot outline course. It will definitely inspire you to come up with the basics for that book or story you’ve been putting off.

And if you like what you see, make sure to check out some of Holly’s other books. I bought her Create a Character Clinic and it made my novel’s main character a lot more three-dimensional.
