The Procrastinator In Me Apologizes…

by The Procrastinating Writer on September 26, 2008

To My Loyal Readers:

I wanted to apologize for not writing a new post in almost a month. Yes, I am a procrastinator…but I have a good excuse (we always do, don’t we?!).

I’ve been spending a lot of my time working on my novel and I have good news! I finally finished my book! I’m so excited, it’s 228 pages and I’m going to start editing it in a couple weeks and make it even better. No more procrastinating for me!

Also, I made it through Hurricane Ike, but I haven’t had power for two weeks, which means no computer to write with.

Anyhow, no more excuses. I promise that I am going to have the best content for you more frequently. And to prove it, here’s a list of what’s to come:

  • What Kind of Procrastinator Are You?–Find out what type of procrastinator you are and how to overcome it.
  • The 3 Tools You Need To Write–Learn the tools that will help you write your novel or whatever creative project you’re working on.
  • I Did It! What I Learned While Writing My First Novel…and How It Will Help You–Learn my mistakes so you can avoid them with your novel-writing experience.
  • Warm Up Before Writing–How doing writing exercises can help jog your brain and inspire you to get writing.
  • Places to Write–The pros and cons of writing outside your home.
  • Don’t Be A “One Day” Writer–Get the definition of a “one day writer” and learn how to avoid being one.
  • National Novel Writing Month–It’s coming up in November…join me as I attempt to write the second novel in my fiction series, and get your book written as well. I’ll give you the details and tips and tricks to help you succeed.
  • The “Pathway To Genius”–Find out how to align yourself with the pathway to completing your writing project.

I have some exciting information coming your way so be sure and check back often. My goal is to bring you a new post at least twice a week.

And thanks for sticking with me, I promise I won’t leave you hanging anymore.
