I started my blog in the spring when I was very ill, suffering from Endometriosis. I wasn't leaving my house very often as my condition became debilitating. My blog saved me. I was able to discuss all the issues surrounding my disease. And the best (unexpected) part? I found other women blogging about their experiences with Endo & received support from those who understood what I was going through. My blog is www.endofriendo.blogspot.com

Great post, thanks!

[...] Start Your Own Blog—Although it will take you some time to build up enough content to get traffic, starting a blog of your own is a better option than selling your soul (or giving away your hard work) to an article site. And you can blog about any topic you choose and eventually make money from it. A lot more than you would spending hours of your time writing articles for article Web sites. [...]

I do have a blog (http://susiesonthescene.blogspot.com), but I'm like 80s queen inthat I write about several different things. I write poems and book reviews and sometimes just my thoughts on writing. Is that a good thing? I'm not sure, but now all I need is an audience.

I'm pround to announce that at the grand old age of 45 (going on 26) I have started my first-ever Blog.

http://andrewtoynbee.wordpress.com/

It's still forming as I'm 'backfilling' the events that led up to the inspiration for my first novel to provide perspective (otherwise it'll seem that the novel just popped out of thin air).

It's now turning out to be a chronological detail of how my book came to be (so far). Maybe the stumbling blocks I've encountered will ring bells with other procrastinators out there!
