Help a Fellow Writer Out!!

by The Procrastinating Writer on March 17, 2009

Hello Procrastinating Writers,

My good friend, Lisa King, who I used to work with at Pet Product News magazine, has had her novel chosen as a first-round finalist in the Amazon Break-Through Novel Contest!!

She’s written an awesome, intriguing and fun mystery novel called Death in a Wine-Dark Sea. I’m one of the lucky ones who has read the entire book and it is a page turner, from the opening line!

I am extremely excited and so very proud to say that I know her. She has worked SO hard on this book, which she wrote almost 10 years ago, and has been shopping around to agents and publishers for years.

As a fiction writer myself, I understand and appreciate how difficult it is to break into the publishing world, so when a chance comes along for a fellow fiction writer, I want to do everything I can to help them out.

When you have a minute, please go to this link, download the 27-page teaser and write a review. She needs as many reviews as possible to move to round 2.
Thanks…and keep those writing dreams alive! As you can see, anything can happen when you work hard!
