That rings so true with me!  I thought I was working on my fears, but I still experience many of the symptoms listed above;

Has anyone else walked into their local bookshop and stared, aghast, at the shelves full of already-published authors whilst thinking &quot;What chance do I have with this lot as competition?&quot;

Have you considered that each and every published author (very likely) has gone through the exact same thing?

Do it.  Send it away.  Get it published! And Good Luck.</description>
