Jennifer,

I have been procrastinating writing for over 40 years now. First I spoke of writing my professional experiences, and then a novel but nothing happened. My friends kept urging me to do so but wasn't I was too busy? And indeed I was. I have varieties of innovative ideas but somehow, they were repelled at the thought of starting the long and uncertain trip toward publishing them. The whole thing was so complex.

Underneath it all ,I have come to realise, was a sense of unworthiness or said another way, a feeling that I did not feel I would be able to write in a way that would enthuse my potential readers.

Where did this come from? I hate to accept this, but from the fact that I am a perfectionist "par excellence'. Discovering your blog has taken the this age long burden of procrastination off me. I am motivated to stand in awe at my ability. It has given an me an attitute that will enable me to exploit fully my motivation.

I have been coming progressively closer to this point in time and finally with the encounter with your blog I am convinced i have reached the point of no return in as far as the goals are concerned. It has finally giving me full confidence, that in addition to my website that ook me a year to write and gets published in January, my blogs and membership sites will also become realities.

Thanks Jennifer for the inspiration you have been.

@S. Megan Payne You are not bothering me AT ALL! I love having conversations with my readers. That's the whole reason I started this blog--to have open dialog with other people like me.

Thank you for this thoughtful, wonderful post, and I offer a heartfelt salute to all those that have come before us.

And now, I'm going to get off your blog and stop bothering you. :)
