So back in December I announced that Procrastinating Writers would be no more. I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but I ended up receiving a ton of emails from readers begging me not to shut the site down.
While my decision to leave Procrastinating Writers in order to pursue a new blog that’s more in line with my interests is final (sorry guys!), I didn’t want to let down the people who’ve had my back since day one.
For that reason, I’ve decided to leave Procrastinating Writers up as an ARCHIVE. That way you can find all the information and writing advice you need to pursue your goals and dreams.
And if you’re looking for new content and a way to expand your creativity, be sure to check out my new blog: InkyBites (launching January 18), where I teach people how to nourish their creativity by improving their health and learning how to live at their creative best.
If you want to get in early, here’s a link to subscribe to the blog. Who knows, you may just find some fun posts coming your way before launch.
Thank you for all that you have given me over the last four years. My life has been enriched by knowing you and having you as a reader.
Good luck with your writing and I hope to see you over at InkyBites next week.

Thank you so much for leaving this up–all the info I had saved from here was recently lost when my hard drive crashed and this way I can come back when taking a writing break (or when needing inspiration).
Best of luck in your new endeavor and I hope to lurk there as well
@Linda Thank you! I hope to see you on the new site
Good luck with Inky Bites. I didn’t plan my transition from old blog to the new quite as well as you seem to have. Up and running properly now. Hope it goes well.

Thanks Martin! I am a ridiculously OCD when it comes to stuff. If I didn’t have a plan in place this transition would never have happened and it needed to. I hope to see you hanging around InkyBites!
Congratulations on starting your new blog, Jennifer! Although we’ll definitely miss you and your consistently great advice here, I’m looking forward to checking out your new place on the web. All the best!
Jennifer –
The new blog sounds interesting.
As a full-time writer for two years, I can tell you the stagnancy of sitting has taken its toll on my health, but it’s something I’m currently improving.
Best wishes with the new blog.
Steve
@Steve Thank you! I agree–being stagnant is definitely not good for your health or growth. The new site is live, hope to see you there! http://www.InkyBites.com
Thank you thank you thank you!
I’m so glad you decided to leave the archive up!
I’m looking forward to seeing the new project as well.
I will obviously miss procrastinatingwritersblog… I may not be the oldest reader, but surely among the regular ones. It’s good you are not just shutting down this blog – my guest post will stay there lol… Anyways, wish you very best of luck for the new project
@Ali No problem! I’ve actually decided to continue posting guest posts on it whenever I get one because people are always contacting me and asking to guest post. Enjoy the one I just posted a few minutes ago! Best of luck to you too.
